Is the preparation of a roll of Members-Elect discretionary or ministerial? I suppose a completely round-the-bend corrupt SCOTUS could invalidate a writ of mandamus to the clerk, but that might well be the end of the Union.

My brother-in-law is a member of the LC community (January 2020 infection), and I remember the controversy over the criteria the CDC first had to determine long COVID, with making it too easy and too hard to be counted as a LC case.
