It also lacks a concept of scratch files; everything has to have a name and location before you can edit it. You can fake it, if you try hard. Honestly the best thing I've used has been a vscode profile, but that's best always open on a relatively powerful machine

I think this is a semantic distinction that is essential to careful policy and legal analysis, and totally unfamiliar to laypeople who use the phrase "free speech" as shorthand for social structures that enable discussion. Not critiquing your precision! But I also don't expect it from a lay audience

Even with a visa waiver, you have to get an ESTA. You have to include your sex on the application for that, which must match your passport. But if that doesn't match sex assigned at birth, you end up facing the same fraud provision
