I heard that bcuz their pay for the shutdown is in a lump sum, the tax withholding could be greater. They could potentially get the overage refunded when they file their tax return next year but don't have that money to spend in the meantime. Maybe Duffy could "scratch and sniff" that concern.

Hearing this stuff on a regular basis puts us all in an abusive relationship. When does the abuser get his due?

Corporate media: la la la la la, nothing to see here. Let's rephrase one small bit of that and pretend his advancing dementia is not on full display.

Adobe is based in San Jose, California. Since it's a U.S. company, consider filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau.

Can even one person ask these questions in a legit way: Do you know that tariffs increase prices for consumers in this country? Do you know that tariffs are a tax on consumers? Willie Geist @msnbc.com - we don't care about his beliefs. It's a question of what he knows.

Is this dolt even aware that the tax credits effectively give money to people to buy health insurance? I give it two days for the insurance companies to squelch today's brain fart suggesting that every person negotiate their own rate.

Donors = bribes paid. If a ballroom is more important than health care and dozens of other needs of the people, let's also shut down the west wing.

We can see who's actually waging a war on Christians.

Each time they run out of not-criminals to harass and abuse, they find new ways to randomly target others. It's about the big $$$$ these companies are raking in at taxpayer expense.

Wow ... finally ... someone capable of challenging the nonsense answers from Johnson and asking follow-up questions????!!!!! What sorcery is this? Let's have more of it!

People who need to be convinced that this is a problem won't be swayed by the word "authoritarianism." They think that's a good thing. Need to use words like wannabe dictatorship, criminal enterprise, unlawful takeover, etc.

Farmers who voted for this.. He did this to you last time & you re-elected him. How do you like hearing about the $$ HE's taking in at your expense? How exactly would "tariffs kick in" for farmers? He lacks basic knowledge of the economy & doesn't give a damn how his air-brain actions affect you.

The ones who voted for trump should be disqualified from receiving any aid. He did this the first time around and bleated constantly about big tariffs during his campaign. If they voted for him this time, then it's time to live with the consequences.

Uhhhh ... anyone gonna ring alarm bells about the US effectively selling people to African countries who are being extorted?

And let's answer this question: If the U.S. has a major mental health problem, why would it allow unfettered access to firearms of all kinds?

And to the kids who were shot in their school that same day .... I got nothin'. Wait, do we have school shootings?

Two students were shot at a Denver high school today. Let's see which shooting gets the longer-lasting attention ... the students or Kirk.

Please amplify similar concerns from trump states. He and every one of his GOP enablers are all too happy to create problems for California but not so much for their magas.
September 6, 2025 at 4:29 PM
We need Dems to hold a daily press conference to counteract the lies and b.s. from the trump admin and the GOP who are now enablers of it all. Take control of the narrative.
September 5, 2025 at 7:34 PM
So, they're proud that a supposed $8 trillion has been paid by U.S. companies and buyers of their goods in the form of the trump tax? I'd call that the largest tax increase imaginable!

His incidents of confabulation are increasing; a common symptom of dementia & other neurological conditions. Confabulation: the act of producing false memories or stories to fill gaps in one's memory. Trump lies regularly, but there are times he seems unaware that his statements are false.
