I heard that bcuz their pay for the shutdown is in a lump sum, the tax withholding could be greater. They could potentially get the overage refunded when they file their tax return next year but don't have that money to spend in the meantime. Maybe Duffy could "scratch and sniff" that concern.

Is this dolt even aware that the tax credits effectively give money to people to buy health insurance? I give it two days for the insurance companies to squelch today's brain fart suggesting that every person negotiate their own rate.

Farmers who voted for this.. He did this to you last time & you re-elected him. How do you like hearing about the $$ HE's taking in at your expense? How exactly would "tariffs kick in" for farmers? He lacks basic knowledge of the economy & doesn't give a damn how his air-brain actions affect you.
