In light of immigration enforcement operations in the West Chicago area, Audrey Luhmann got together with a team of rapid responders to deliver candy to two area apartment complexes that she said were recently hit by immigration raids.

And that’s how reverse trick-or-treating was born.

Audrey Luhmann collected about $900 worth of candy in 72 hours to deliver to children around the Timber Lake and Main Park apartments Friday evening.

A United Airlines flight from Virginia to Rome turned around after a passenger dropped their laptop and could not retrieve it.
