my brother got in deep sh*t for reciting this in class aged 6 c. 1968. He was supposed to learn another poem, but didn't.

Mary Pugh was nearly two when she went out of doors

She went out standing up, she did, but came back on all fours

The moral of this story, please meditate and pause

Never send a baby out in loosely waisted drawers.

My grandad had an uncle at the siege of Kimberley, so we knew all about it growing up as my grandad was very good at stories

as a professional cook who regularly had to hand cut 50 or more onions at a time, I found blinking repeatedly through the first 2 or 3, letting them stream seemed to protect them from the rest ok. DONOT RUB YOUR EYES UNDER ANY CIRCOMSTANCES or this method doesn't work

What a coincidence, yesterday I finished a 30 day Yoga challenge I set myself, using Charley Follows beginner videos on YouTube. I surprised myself by doing everything but pigeon pose! That one just did my hip in. It has given me the confidence to go public in a class at the gym. I wish you success

Just a thought. Might it be possible to get a covid jab whilst you are in Germany? I don't know how the system works there, but it might be a workable solution. Have a good time there anyway

Anyone who wants one can get one free here in France, you just ask the pharmacist. We are lucky

I had both flu and covid on the same day last week, one in each arm. Right covid (intramuscular)felt like a punch for 2 days, left flu (subcutaneous) felt nothing at all. Next day felt tired but better to get it over in one go rather than suffer twice is my theory

last Wednesday I had a covid jab in the right arm and a flu jab in the left. Covid was intramuscular and felt like I had been punched in the arm for 2 days. The flu jab was sub cutaneous and was fine. the next day I felt exhausted so I know the immune system is working.

baked pear, cut in half straight out of the oven and sprinkled with 70% chocolate drops which melt in the heat of the pear, would go well with your yoghurt mix too, I'm going to try it today with my home grown pears

In a way this is very apt, in WWI the moral of the BEF ran on hot tea at regular intervals and food parcels from the family at home

This scenario is mitigated to some extent by hunter/gather/fisher culture occupying a different ecological niche to farmers. Excess farmer population could move into new communities further afield. Both would have reduced the impact of farmer communities on HGF lifestyle and slowed down assimilation

It became a tradition in our house that my husband and I only ever knew it was our anniversary because my Mum phoned me up to wish me a happy anniversary. We said we celebrated 364 days a year so we had a day off😀

I found after about 6 months the need for an accurate diary diminished as I had engrained a new way of eating into my routine. After that it became relatively easy

Over a month or so you will get a collection of meal plans that work fo you in most circumstances and an understanding of the macro nutrient content of most of the food you want to eat and healthy eating will start to become second nature.

my advice is keep an accurate food diary to begin with a tleast. www.eatthismuch.com/app/planner/... This app works for me. Once you identify 5 or six menus that fit your daily meal plan you can cycle through them without much thought.
