I’d believe a number around 75-90. Many times research documents don’t actually provide enough information for others to create a robust, accurate replication in the first place. Idk if author meant 90% of results wouldn’t replicate if perfect replications were possible, that’s a harder question ofc

Anyone who didn’t think it was safe enough probably wouldn’t be a passenger at ohare, so is asking people in an airport generalizable to “most Americans”? If you poll a skydiving office and ask “who’s ready to jump,” the answer is probably more favorable there than a random sampling of the country

From the article it doesn’t seem like she really is questioning her marriage. This seems more like an ad for their podcast than a real article.

The theater isn’t for plots as much as it is for visual spectacle. Plots work just fine on your couch at home.

I find it somewhat uncomfortable that insurance companies fulfilling their purpose is termed as “losses”. It’s not “losses” when you fulfill your half of the original contract and provide what was initially paid for.

Maybe crime is easier to carry out when cars are less than full. It’s not given that crime should increase with pop. in all circumstances. Not sure what you think the LLNs is doing in this case, it’s not a law about crime in large populations & if anything LLN says a time series would be better
