I bounce Back;
Weep for the fallen.
Mourn their loss.
Let grief be condolence for what hatred hath cost.
Temper your anger.
Honour their names.
Take care of the families that have lost their flame.

For those that plan on visiting, give the town the space they need. Please.

The homeless are victims of a system that is currently trying to eat the common man. Bite back by showing compassion. We are humans, we are people, not cogs in a machine.

Me too! I've always liked magic systems that have a symmetry or geometry.

I agree once again. Criticism and questioning everything is how people grow. Especially if it leads to discourse (not argument). People dont have to agree with each other all the time. The world would be pretty boring if we were all the same.

punishment was encouraged by Rand, Renna chose to uphold her belief after the fact. Not because it was the moral high ground, but because it aligned with her own beliefs (which ran contrary to societal beliefs) Despite the trauma, she ended up becoming a legend instead of a damsel in distress.

I agree with this statement 100%, not trying to slut shame, or victim blame. Clear consent in any setting is a universal must. Doesn't matter how one dresses, acts, looks, or talks. The point I was trying to make was that despite the trauma, even when she had every right to vengeance, even when

that was made in a time with different tech, unity, and population to mislead their people. The irony that the "Shardamaka" and "deliverer" were the same person that came out of Krasia, yet one half of the world sees them as Caucasian and the other half tanned is a parallel to the Abrahamic faith.

Men hold the power, woman are meant to be subservient, and children are tools to be moulded. As someone who was once Muslim I've experienced that dogma myself. The powers that be in Krasia and the other hamlets are mostly old men that are completely disconnected from their people, and use scripture

The thing about the orientalist view about middle eastern culture is, its kind of bang on? In certain areas of asia and the middle east (africa as well but I'm not educated enough to say for sure) they use scripture and tradition as an excuse to shackle woman and children.

This reflects the struggle woman face pretty well imo. Most men these days are intimidated by women who out earn them to want to work. And gossip and slander aren't uncommon when it comes to looking above average.

Renna was ostracized and became a pariah BECAUSE she was a strong intelligent woman. Her intelligence and independence intimidated the men around her. Her beauty made the woman of the Village jealous. It was through the teachings of Bruna(the crone) that she empowered herself
