I was in a toxic, emotionally abusive relationship, & today's WH meeting was too familiar. Gaslighting, talking over you, yelling, shouting "I'm not yelling" when you point it out, taking credit for things they didn't do, blaming you for their shortcomings. Saying you're nothing without them.

Why is any sitting or future president above the law (in terms of no real consequences for conviction of crimes)? This seems un-American to me. But I'm not a civics scholar or historian. I'd love to be informed. #history #civics #constitutionallaw etc

Love my Altras but never buying a white running shoe again. Or at least not wearing them during the PNW winter. And this is after washing them in the machine and scrubbing them in the bathtub. Next I'll try oxyclean.

Currently training for a 10K trail race in February, a half marathon road race in May, and Ragnar Northwest Passage in July. Running (even as slowly as I run) has been so good for my mental health. 1/4

We found out that the reason my husband's company's corporate premiums went up is because "some individuals" used insurance too much in 2024. We have a special needs kid. I'm pretty sure it refers to us (the company employs only half a dozen staff). How is this legal? 1/2

You know how parents are tired after a vacation with their kids? We just got back from a 3 day trip and my kid threw up and is coughing like a smoker. That's how tired I am. I'm not counting on a full night's sleep tonight either 😪

Because the Justice department policy forbids prosecuting a sitting president. And Jack Smith is getting the heck out of there before Trump starts his term (I don't blame him for that). What kind of country do we live in now? So disappointing.
