On December 12, 2025, I give you many roses for Advent. This picture was taken on June 4, 2025 in the front yard, the sunniest spot on the north side of our lot. #juliachildrose is the "hedge" along the east side.

On December 9, 2025, we remember this lovely "Bella Rosa" red camellia japonica that was blooming on March 29, 2025. Winnie the Golden is peeking through the fence. Nuccio's in Altadena suffered great damage in the fires.

I'll say it again: there is a hard limit to how many satellites you can have in orbit without terrible consequences, and I am quite sure we are already above that limit, mostly thanks to Starlink.
