Thank you for this as it helps clarify my own positions. I recently attended a conference that nudged participants in the direction of AI as a partner in learning. I know students will need to learn how to use it constructively, but it still seems to run counter to what I value in my classroom.

I work often with new teachers on pacing and transitions. If they don’t plan well, kids get bored or lose attention. Many classroom management issues emerge from lack of engagement.
