Today marks my final day on wearing this uniform.
It’s been a long journey only to be stopped by cancer. Even after winning the fight with cancer my body could no longer tolerate the requirements needed to keep wearing this thus cutting my journey short at 8 years of service. 🫡

Got good news this morning. My results are in. no additional cancer found in my colon. I’m cancer free according to the doctor. I’ll be able to go home today.
