DQB2 doodle (spoilers!) Paper that says: "Dear King: After reviewing your actions for the past two weeks, I have come to the conclusion that you do not deserve to have Malroth on your island. He is my comfort character and seeing him in an environment not meant for him brings me anxiety, so I will be expecting a reply to this letter when you have him released and ready to relinquish him to someone who will treasure him like he deserves. -Builder". Below you can see the builder writing this note on the floor of the Moonbrooke basement, crying, with an upset Malroth in the background that won't talk to them.

Malroth's path through the Isle of Awakening before Builder finds him. Hellen explains that he slept beneath the Mountaintop Temple. Malroth says he saw grass along the west coast, and fought a slime (that only spawns on the west coast). He of course saw the bodies, else he wouldn't have known about them to show to Builder. He pulls Builder out of the sea, as shown in the intro cutscene (which has Malroth pulling Builder out of the water, and the next scene has Builder already sitting looking at the sea, with Malroth behind) and explained by Dougie. He then goes back to his brooding rock.
