OH YEAH Check out some AR photos I took on my desk. I was just messing with it the other day and made a scene with Lily and Static chatting.
AR mode isn’t needed but it is fun. In my ACNH island, Static is a retired small-time musician, so I see this as Lily asking him about his life as a musician.

The first floor of my cabin aquarium. Ok, I love love LOVE the aquarium and aquatic items in Pocket Camp. Ever since the jellyfish tanks were added, I’ve tried to use them but it was only after the cabin was added that I was able to do this and it only got better with the newer items. I love this room because of this tank containing a whale shark. MY BABY. But why is this so HUGE. IT IS SO ANNOYING TO PLACE. The top floor cafe! I had to redo this one a couple of times. It took me a while to find the right balance between a cafe stop you’d enjoy and it still looking like it is part of an aquarium. I think this achieved it!

And I never show off my camper or my cabin. So, here they are! My camper is just a cozy space for me but my cabin is a two-story aquarium with a cafe!
This is the ground floor of my camper. It took me a long time to decide to make just a home style place instead of fantastical. The second floor of my camper. Again, this is just a cozy bedroom, but it took me a while to find a design I liked. I fell in love with the way this came out.

I also realized I never showed off my camp or my cabin. I love them! My camp changes every season, and I tried something different with this one. I like it!
The theme is a hidden away flower forest in cloudy mountains. I like to make a lot of sitting areas like this for visitors to enjoy each other’s company! This one works really well together. I also like to mix up interactive items and I especially like the combination of the greens I got to use here!

I saw someone else say it’s because the Sonic artists did these, and if that’s true, I am not surprised. I feel like it is easier to integrate Sonic style onto DC than vice versa. Sonic characters are hard to prevent uncanny valley if you aren’t used to their anatomy.

I would take realistic humans in a Sonic setting normally if they stay this style. It’s such a nice mesh and makes the Sonic characters stand out but not too much. I can see them living on the same planet for real.
