Mari is a texturing powerhouse in VFX studios, targeted at RHEL/Rocky and mostly GNOME. My brain says it's supposed to be broken beyond usefulness on any unsupported configuration, but here it is.

I don't have modern hardware, but it's just so damn responsive and performant now! 😳

Feels good to get Blender compiling again. Maybe my mood will improve and I'll find some creative energy to sculpt something 🤔

(And, yes, my resource monitor plots CPU usage as a trans flag. Cringe? Maybe. Do I care? No. 🏳️‍⚧️)

Figuring out the comic book shader was the trickiest part of this one, but I'm still pleased with how it worked out in the end 😊

Another project from the archives. This was my attempt at sculpting a Predator bust 🙂

The skin shader clearly needed more work, but everything else turned out better than expected.
