Any antique doll fans here? I’m trying to learn more about my nana’s doll. 1940’s, bisque head-and-shoulders, no joints, bisque limbs, synthetic wig, inset eyes (not painted on), closed mouth. Twin face makers mark. She looks like a Kester or Bradley doll to me, but I’m having trouble confirming.

A spooky story. On 10/26/24 a letter was given to the Post Office, to go from CA to AR. It took TWO WEEKS for it to be stamped for departure. Then another TWO MONTHS for it to simply be stamped for return. Then it travelled for two MORE months before finally returning to me. 🎃 Happy Halloween! 👻

Cartoonists & book friends: I was hoping to bulk buy 60 copies of Frankie Comics from a shop. Shipping was listed at $4/ea. Knowing it doesn’t cost $250 to ship a box of 60 books, I emailed asking if they would invoice me directly. Help me out. Was their reply: overly thorough, rude, or unhinged?
