The original U-87 top end sounded better through a couple of generations of tape. Though more colored, the U-67 still rules the series IMHO. Thanks for the review on the Dachman!

Good to know, but I have to say I like the later Sennheiser/Neumann U-87ai sonics better. It may be the improved power for the capsule (I don’t know) but it sounds smoother in digital era recordings.

This book was written by a friend of mine and is short bits of memoir about her life. A central theme is her long life together with her partner, before losing her to cancer. It is romantic but not erotic, and kindness is a central part. Read the description on the Amazon sales page for more info.
