and then now im about to go on my second vacation to japan in two years. it really feels like a dream

like my family couldn't afford it until i was like 20+, and it wasn't for a vacation it was more of an exchange program for my uni. my parents scrounged up enough to pay for my air ticket, and the rest of the trip i was on my own with my own savings (my choice i didn't want to burden my parents)
