There’s a strange intimacy in hitting “publish.” Especially when you’re an indie artist, when every track feels like a piece of skin you’re about to peel off and hand to whoever presses play. That quiet moment before release can be brutal: the voice that says it’s not ready, the other one that whispers it’ll never be, and the one that screams you’re wasting your time.

How was your week? Mine felt strangely intense, that stillness before something shifts. Halloween fades, Christmas lights creep in, and yes… Mariah Carey is back on the radio. I haven’t turned on the heating in my indie lounge yet, blankets are here for the cold-blooded among you, and there’s tea. Always tea. Like “If You Don’t Love Me” by Beastie Fan Music Club…

Halloween is everywhere, right before we place a flower on a grave among other graves. Dark thoughts? Not really, just the season speaking. I won’t be celebrating Halloween in my living room anyway.

The Salon Indie of Mitxoda – Episode 26 (October 24, 2025) There are nights when the world feels too calculated, too measured, too optimized, too watched. And yet here we are, building something that can’t be tracked: a small universe of sound, shared in trust. A song doesn’t need data to breathe. It just needs someone to listen. In this 26th Salon, the lights were dim, the tea was warm, and time slowed down.

When the screens go silent, the underground sings. Neon Vampire feat. Mitxoda, Ray Cokes, AI’s strange echo, and a wave of indie voices rising again.

How are you today? It’s one of those questions I asked my community this week. It may sound simple, or even funny. But in a world that’s losing its sense of gentleness, asking “How are you?” is already an act of care. We shouldn’t go to bed angry. We shouldn’t start a new day without a smile. And yet, sometimes the small shadows find their way in.

And honestly, indie artists are unconventional, not matter what!

Why do we consume music? What remains within us after each song? Do we still find our place in this immense, ever-changing sea of sound? Sometimes, it’s good to take a step back,  to listen, to breathe, to simply be with music. So today, let’s begin with a moment of pure harmony, a pause in motion. Ultranoire is a  German-Hungarian collaboration that reminds us how electronic minimalism can become emotional architecture.
