Today was mammogram day. As a breast cancer survivor, mammogram day is particularly stressful. It's awful waiting for results. Less than 2 hours after my mammo, doc's name pops up on caller ID. He called the minute the results came through. All normal! Yay!!!

Ruka living the good life - far different from the dirty outdoor run she called home 10 years ago. Think long and hard about that Christmas puppy, folks. Shelters are full of dogs that are no longer convenient. If you can't commit emotionally or financially to a dog for 14-15 years, get a goldfish.

Lowe's is pretty amazing. They lost an entire store in Asheville due to Hurricane Helene (over $7 million in stock, plus my daughter's car), not to mention clean up, lost revenue, and flood damage to several other stores. Look what they are doing to help the community.
