Our ACA premiums are going up 739%. It’s $125 a month for two of us now, but will jump to $1,049 starting in January for one person. It’s a high-deductible bronze plan with a strict PPO. The increase would be 1,580% (premium of $2,100) in January, but one of us is going on Medicare Dec. 1. SMH!

Our ACA insurance will go from $125 a month to $1049 a month in 2026. Bronze plan with PPO.
The $125 covers two of us. The $1049 will cover only one of us. We recently retired. I go on Medicare later this year. Husband stays on ACA until he turns 65 next year. Unbelievable!

Red states won’t suffer. The students & teachers will. One in five K-12 students has a disability that requires an IEP or 504 plan. Will red states begin footing the bill to educate their blind, deaf or dyslexic students? What about students in Title 1? Red state lawmakers ignore these kids.
