We leverage multiple spatial datasets from Baltimore, MD to see how stewardship affects the implementation of green infrastructure & changes in tree canopy over time and how this varies with socio-demographic patterns. Combined spatial-temporal analysis is a new direction for STEW-MAP research (2/4)

Ghosh - Adoption of words “resilience” & “adaptation” meant to imply a sense of objectivity but is also #dystopian because it represents one specific view of climate futures unfolding
December 11, 2023 at 9:56 PM
Ghosh @GhoshAmitav suggests to #AGU23 that deterministic and predictive modeling represents the views of a class of experts and also likely misses a lot of human behavior, social systems dynamics, etc.
