"Woke" simply means awake to the suffering of those marginalized. A "woke" person is a good Samaritan. An unawakened person walks right past those that are marginalized or suffering and grumbles about them. It was the Pharisees who hated the Samaritans. The "unwoke" are the Pharisees of today.
