Really, I think Billups got better and better at relying on assistants to implement his vision into actual gameplay. I don’t think a lot of what we are seeing was actually created by him but more developed by his staff with his vision in mind.

Totally agree that this is his roster and he played a massive part in building it. It makes sense he would be good at it. I do think the philosophy behind the defense is his. I think he knew what kind of style he wanted in the offense but reports are that it’s been Splitters offense from the start.

This is a great interview to watch if you are looking for advice from someone you would literally never ask for advice from.

Yea, totally agree. This organization has not been good at handling tough situations for years.

I think it’s very unlikely anyone in the organization thinks Joe Cronin is connected to anything Billups did. They just don’t want him answering questions about an ongoing legal issue that really just started. Everybody is going to no comment this when they are made available for a long time.

I think it’s going to take longer than that and I think it’s mostly because they are going to go through the legal process to make sure they keep the rest of the money on his contract.
