I welcome the news coming from the Senate today. Now let's get to the real work.

Yesterday I stood with the Black Church Coalition, as well as faith and community leaders from across our city to oppose the Attorney General’s lawsuit against IPS.

Our students’ safety must always take precedence over whatever political bullshit is popular at any given time.

#ThrowbackThursday to my first campaign with Mindy! I’m so honored to fight for a better future for her everyday.

Statehouse Republicans, I hope you read this closely 👇

As I once said: it’s a basic concept. You fight for us, now we fight for you.

I am incredibly proud to have authored and passed legislation aimed at further supporting Hoosier veterans. The first, the Green Alert - like a Silver Alert, but for a missing at-risk veteran.

Today we honor all of those who have served and sacrificed for our country. Happy Veterans Day — and thank you.

I’m honored to have attended Operation Green Light at Monument Circle last Thursday. Let’s continue to assure our veterans that they are seen, heard, and appreciated.

Serving as the State Representative for my neighbors has been the greatest professional honor of my life. That's why I'm excited to announce that I'm running again to represent this great community and its people.

🚨Reminder! I hope to see you tonight.
ReCenter Indiana is holding a Redistricting Listening event tomorrow evening in Beech Grove, starting at 6:30pm. This is a great opportunity for folks to learn about what redistricting is, why it matters, and share their views on the matter.

I encourage everyone to attend and hope to see you there!

Today I attended the Association of Indiana Municipalities' Mayor/Legislator Luncheon to hear about statehouse policies' impacts on cities and towns. I attended in support of Beech Grove Mayor Coffman, who addressed a recently passed law that stripped Beech Grove of some public safety revenue.

Hoosiers remain opposed, but Indiana’s redistricting sham is set for the first weeks of December. I cannot stress enough, Statehouse Republicans want to take one of the last things working-class Hoosiers have left: their voice.

Miss my redistricting op-ed yesterday? Check it out: bit.ly/4otMKmu

Hoosier families are barely scraping by, but statehouse Republicans aren’t interested in helping us. They’re only focused on doing the bidding of Washington. I encourage you to read more of my thoughts on this mid-decade gerrymandering sham today in the IndyStar.

No political tricks found here. Just the power of people coming together to stand up for fair maps and fair politics.

Have a happy and safe Halloween, friends!

Wishing all of my fellow first responders and public safety workers a Happy First Responders Day! It is an honor to serve alongside you, and I continue to admire your hard work and selflessness.

Last night Brittany and I attended the Indianapolis Children's Choir's 40th Anniversary Gala, supporting an organization doing so much for our city's kids. Incredibly, we met in ICC 20 years ago! Now our little one participates in ICC programming. Man, time flies!

Honored to have kicked off Rep. Garcia-Wilburn's launch party for her re-election to the statehouse, where she is doing great work.

Victoria is an incredible friend and one of the finest people I have the pleasure of serving with.

So, are you ready to do more to help her get re-elected?

Mitch Daniels and I agree on two things; that he has a great first name, and that Indiana’s leaders’ “duty is to the citizens and the future of our state, not to a national political organization or a temporary occupant of the White House.” Check out his op-ed 👇

Mitch Daniels on redistricting: 'Someone has to lead in climbing out of the mudhole'
Daniels, a respected figure in the Indiana GOP, argued Indiana lawmakers should listen to the Hoosiers who elected them, not the White House.
