Simplifying and enhancing the experience of reading my case studies, starting with my "Designing the involveMINT app" page on my website.

I love breathing life into static elements through animation.

I prompted my local installation of Deepseek R1:

"What happened at Tiananmen Square in 1989?"

It answered with censorship and used the term "we" in its response. So, I asked what it meant by "we"... and it became stuck in "thinking" mode, falling into an unending stream of reasoning.

Wild.

Shortcuts pro-tip for macOS users: for your shortcuts that are invoked via hotkey, include the hotkey in the shortcut name. Also, dip into your System Settings and toggle on having Shortcuts appear in your menubar...

...Ta-da! Easy way to reference how to invoke those shortcuts, at a glance.

Let's share some "recent" design work, like this web app I designed for a nonprofit in Pittsburgh. A core part of its functionality is to send or receive digital currency between users, stored in a digital wallet. This was my first foray into product design (hugely gratifying to work on!) #designsky

Neat thing: I was still able to download, install, and launch Things v2.8 from the mac app store. Look at those icons! 😊

Unfortunately, the app freezes if I attempt to press on nearly anything. It's too bad, because I'd love to poke around this old app version and study the user interface.

I’ve helped design a lot of things, but the coolest collab I’ve ever done was with my wife to create this kid. #DadSky

Here's an early concept I made in Framer as I worked out a navigation for use on my website. Buttons, shaped like buttons!

The Apple Store in Amsterdam is cool. We visited last year while vacationing. Check out that staircase!
