The same thing happened with Wall Street. Gordon Gecko is clearly the villain. He's so totally a terrible person. His entire ideology is garbage. And yet, so many people earnestly believe that "greed is good" because of this movie. Broken people will always see broken people as virtuous.

Nonsense. You make all public education tuition free. If a private institution wants to charge tuition, they can. The only thing we need to do is make college be paid the same way we do for primary and secondary education. The government is already running the school. Just don't charge tuition.
