I think the issue is that some people just can’t get past the actual animation/cartoon aspect and just assume anything like that is automatically childish. But anyone saying that isn’t worth talking to anyway.

I did not know that was the consensus on LastPass. I’ve seen reports and most have read saying all my notes, passwords, etc are all encrypted securely even after a breach. Everyone is always under attack. Never an if but a when. Is there still cause for concern to make a switch?

Gotcha. I prefer LastPass and their paired Authenticator. That way all my codes are in one place and if I ever lose my phone I know they’re still secure and backed up.

Are you ever concerned about losing a physical security key like the Yubikey. I’ve seen it as a sign in option on GitHub and it looks fun. I just know I’d end of misplacing it or dropping it while traveling.

Now is something you would do if you have installs globally? I’ve never had any issue like this before using a venv for each of my projects.

Threads has really disappointed me. They just moved the caption above the reposted TikTok video. All it ever shows me is brain rot even though I do everything in my power to interact with programming, IT, politics, etc.

This specific technique is always associated with things like a WiFi router. Unplug, count to 30 Mississippi, plug power back in… fully functional again lol.
