I figured 3,000 years old means he's basically immortal, right? Surely, post game, I can visit him whenever and we can have a lovely little chat. But then he started coughing and I caught on IMMEDIATELY. "No. No no no. Nintendo no. Nintendon't."

That reminds me:
A few years ago, I walked by a High School wearing a backpack during school hours. A cop stopped me & "Aren't you supposed to be in school right now?" "Sir, I'm 27."
The most surprising part is that he just...believed me. I wasn't lying but I was surprised he didn't ask for my ID.

Come to think of it, I never got to tell her I'm proud of her for getting herself and others outta that pit. I wasn't old/socially aware enough to know exactly what sort of impact she was making.

She struggled with mental health and addiction issues. I'm not sure if that came out before or after she was helping out with me.
We fell out of contact but my mom kept up with her. She got better and helped other people recover.
Complications from diabetes is what killed her.
