She/Her - Sometimes an artist, when I'm not worrying about the state of the world and the future we're leaving for our children.
That's assuming they don't have the numbers to overthrow the authoritarian regime, and if the policy of said government is "agree with us or we'll kill you", it's not going to be hard to convince a lot of people to join the cause.

I'm not necessarily against violence. Taxes are taken through threat of violence, and the enforcement of laws does the same, but both of those serve the common good. That's violence most people can get behind.

Mandatory reeducation camps for people with bad opinions doesn't go over as well.

That's a good question, one that I don't know if I have an answer to, but I'm pretty sure mandatory re-education camps aren't a sustainable solution. The moment you start sending people to camps for voicing opinions, you're going to have a citizen uprising.

If there was a net decrease in human suffering, I didn't feel it. What I did feel was the anti-trans sentiment reaching a fever pitch online as he was martyred and the shooter's relationships were scrutinized.

It was the first time in my life that I seriously considered leaving the US.

I'd be perfectly happy just seeing him deplatformed and left to squander in irrelevance. I prefer to see less human suffering, not more.

Wait, what do you mean "a camp"? As in a concentration camp? Why would that make me smile?
December 4, 2025 at 8:32 AM
Eh. Sounds a bit too close to authoritarianism to me. Not exactly my cup of tea.

I think the criticism here is that you're not offering anything of substance or of value, but simply bellyaching over a benign post soliciting donations, something that is incredibly common for politicians, especially ones that don't get a lot of corporate money.

No idea how you would implement that kind of power without leaving it open to being co-opted by the right.

"What if"? They've already been using the prohibition of "adult" content to silence discussion about trans people and trans issues. It's literally in Project 2025.

Because he made sure it would happen.

I feel like I really want to know how those double doors work with that door frame.

Where are you getting that he was endorsed by the DSA?

Big Binky and the Banana Boys origin story

That could be the case, sure, but the lack of direct links to the tiktok or an email linking the accounts means that this connection isn't exactly confirmed. The best indication that this is the same person is that they lived somewhere in southern Utah 4 years ago.

Interesting. However, that post also mentions that there are no mountains between where they are and the Arizona border 20 miles away. Most of Utah is a mountainous region, and St. George is no different. Seems odd to me.
September 15, 2025 at 12:23 AM
Just searched their reddit. No mention of Utah or Arizona. Also no mention of their tiktok, which is weird for a supposedly aspiring gaming streamer. Do you have any archives of the posts in question?

Not familiar with threads, and I don't see a link to it in search or on his insta. You're free to check, though.

That's an instagram account, that's probably why. No idea where the comment would be, though.

That comparison between Polish heraldry and a moth(?) sculpture stands out as a particularly egregious stretch. Is the Maw supposed to look like a moth? Because I don't see it. The wings don't even look like a moth's, they're more like tattered bat wings.

I think there can be positive interpretations of the Medium, but I don't think that's what I'm seeing here. This person isn't interpreting the text of the game, they're just ignoring it in favor of some strange "it's about Poland's history" theory that they barely justify.
