I dont really like either of these people, but Shankar's work has always been left adjacent. Considering the rest of the show is supposed to be a War on Terror allegory, I dont think hes sincerely on Asmon's side here.

I can certainly respect the position, and understand why you feel that way! I imagine alot of those misconceptions come from the diffiulculty of defining this movement. It took me awhile to find this series of posts that REALLY brought me to an appreciation for where this journey has brought you-
