This afternoon we went to the Dublin Castle and had a great tour - our guide sang us one of James Connolly’s songs in the room where he was held in 1916, and in general it was a great overview of Irish history to start my week here!

My parents got a slightly smaller tree this year than they have in prior years, which means there’s an intense concentration of ornaments in the main area of the tree my 9 yo niece can reach

Tonight I saw Swept Away, which I immediately bought a ticket to when I found out it was closing early on Dec 15th. WELL, it has sold out every show since its closing was announced and it’s now been extended through Dec 29th. Go see this show if you possibly can.
