Yeah. That's pretty much what I thought too.

The cool part was my niece did a semester abroad and was able to go there and find his marker. The first in our family to see it. She took photos of it & someone took photos of her next to it. Full-circle moment for sure. Those photos are among my dad's most prized possessions.

What's past "beyond furious?" Wherever that is, walk 10,000 miles past *that* and that's where I am on the scale. They have decimated the joy and hope from just last week. 🤬😡😤😫

About 15 years ago,my dad received a letter from the man whose family has taken care of his father's grave there. My dad was 3 when his father was killed. That letter was beautiful and it made us all cry to know how much that sacrifice meant. The man said he was the 2nd generation caring for it. ❤️

I don't think they're exhuming anyone. Just taking down memorials for them.

My grandfather is buried there. The people there take such great care of our family members who were killed there, fighting for freedom from fascists. This is 🐂 💩 of the highest order.
