I’m unsure of how I feel about the CG in the live action Snow White. The seven dwarves both look good and off at the same time. Then again, when stuff looks hyper real, it’s somehow worse lol.

Another Substance Designer material for the Tank Indie game. Created this "Old Metal Siding" material with the idea of an old shack. Growing up in Texas, you see this look quite often randomly in fields lol... Rendered in Eevee

Had a nice cabin for the weekend. First mini vacation I’ve had in years. After the ups and downs I’ve had personally this year… from work related to close friend loss. It was a needed reset. Now to get cranking on more personal projects and add some positive balance to 2023.

Being my Starship Troopers inspired creature I posted a while back only had a single image attached. I found some of the WIP images I made during the process. Also, used this to test subsurface texturing in Unreal. 🐜🕷️

Another Substance Designer material created for an indie game. Made this with an isometric camera in mind, so the lines were a bit more exaggerated. I think for my next material I may mix some zbrush height exports as the tiling pattern. Noticed a few people doing this and it looked awesome.

I try to find random concept art pieces online to get more comfortable using Blender over Maya. I think mixing traditional modeling with the Boxcutter add-on is the way to go. Anyone else have suggestions for must have plugins?

Textured this Sweet Tooth RC game asset for a buddy that plans on making a Twisted Metal fan game...told him he should call it Bent Alloy...😆 lol. Materials were created using Substance Painter. I plan on making an explainer video going over the process in the coming weeks.

Felt like posting some throwback Thursday Art. These are some renderings I made of a mid rise building located in Plano, Texas. Used Unreal Engine 4 back when it was extremely new to the non gaming world. Learned a ton that year and lost hair lol. 😆
