With a firm resolve, Snowbelle agrees to take in the horses as part of her makeshift family of animal friends. Soon, everyone is Evergreen helps Snowbelle to build a fine home for her two new friends, and sure enough, the mare goes into labor and, with Snowbelle's help, deliver's a beautiful foal.

In the weeks that follow, one of the horses is making it very difficult for either Snowbelle or Bruce to be near the other one for too very long.Then, They two discoveries. Discovery #1: One of the horses is a mare, and she is heavily pregnant. Discovery #2: most of their herd died in an avalanche.

During this, Bruce proceeds to open their bear traps freeing the horses easily. They then takes the horses back to Snowbelle's home to take care of them. Snowbelle does the job in tending to their the wounds and making sure that they have food and water while Bruce tries to find their herd

Taking pity on the horses, Our friends decides to help. First, Bruce takes a couple of ropes out of his backpack and loops each one around the neck of one of the horses before tying the other end around a sturdy tree nearby. Snowbelle then tries to calm the horses down by talking softly to them.

Here's a short synopsis of the story: Snowbelle is helping Bruce gather special berries in the forest near her home village when she hears a strange noise. They go to investigate, and discover a couple of wild horses, each one having an abandoned bear trap crushed between one of their front legs.
