Maybe someday I'll figure out how to monetize my enjoyment of art and creation or maybe a dumb little side project will take off and I'll get random success from it.
But as of right now? I'll keep with the retail route/maybe try to figure out something lateral to switch to. Art... maybe someday.

I've gotten back to where I enjoy art and there's a sense of wonder and drive to learn/experiment/enjoy again.
I still can't bring myself to open commissions or do them outside of for a few close friends/some acquaintances I've met over the years; people who I know I can work with easily enough.

Put simply, it was not good. One family member specifically thought that I was free 24/7, and in the long run? It damaged my self-worth and my enjoyment of art seriously.
I ended up finding another job in retail and I stopped drawing almost entirely for a long time.
