So, what's the solution? Move out of the state? Not all of us have the financial means to do so. And many of us would rather stay and try to improve the state of things, even if it's an uphill climb. I don't think people should be punished for where they live.

You do realize there are millions of people in red states that don't vote Republican, right? The South isn't a monolith. You have allies down here. Let's show a little more compassion.
