And yet the stats show that people don’t. I blame society (or “Capitalism”) for that as it distorts one’s world view in a bad direction. People don’t want to be bad but society makes it easy, common and then inevitable.

But who can tell Musk what to do and make him do it? He’s essentially ungovernable due to the way the economy works across most of the world (including China to some extent). Yet no hyperloop … If it didn’t happen it’s because he didn’t want it to.

Yet much charity work in the UK is performed by and donated to by Christians. Not by non-believers nor by government or council employees (who you would think ought to be providing the services in many cases). So it’s a socially useful delusion hmmm?
