This is Avis’ version of Spotify Wrapped. 😁 My family of 4 is car-free but we occasionally rent a car to run errands, go on road trips, etc. My *annual* car expense of $1,425 (includes insurance) is less than what some households pay per month for automobile usage.

Can someone at the @inquirer.com take a look at why the iPhone app is taking up so much storage??? I’ve had the app storage usage go over 30GB! I get that apps need to cache data but it should limit the cache to no more than 1GB or so. I shouldn’t have to manually clear the cache.

This big bag of freshly made tortilla chips from a mom+pop tortilla shop was $7. Seems like a lot but it’s a lot of chips since there’s no extra air in the packaging. Probably ends up about the same price or even less than big brand chips but these taste so much better.

Apparently Stranger Things is most popular in the 18-29 age group. I’d think it’d do better with people in their 30s and 40s because of the 80s nostalgia.

I don’t think Philly appreciates how nice it is that we have a subway line with local and express trains. It’s pretty rare in the US.

Finally saw Copeland live for the first time. They were my soundtrack for my mid 20s. Sadly they were only the supporting act for The Starting Line so they had a short set but it was so worth it.

Strava makes you pay for a subscription if you want to see your Strava “Replay/Unwrapped”. 😒
The only reason why I use Strava instead of Apple Fitness is I like how I’m able to specify which bike I used and can see total mileage over time by bike.

This is a big reason why I made it a goal to see 12 concerts this year, almost all small indie artists, and buy merch at their shows. I also bought a record player this year and tried to buy records from all the artists I saw live.

It’s too bad US fast food restaurants typically don’t offer beer. It makes the meal so much more enjoyable. Prime example is fried chicken and beer which is so popular in Korea, they have a name for it: chimaek. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chimaek

I set a goal of going to at least 12 concerts in 2025 and I’ll accomplish that this week! My 2025 top artists lists mostly mirrors the artists I saw live.
I didn’t know all of them before going to their show but I spent a lot of time listening to them in the weeks leading up to the show.

This is what the 45 bus looks like at 8:30am, so it’s even after the school commute rush! And @septaphilly.bsky.social is planning to REDUCE frequency on this popular bus route in the bus network redesign. 🤔

I’m so happy I got a dog who loves going on bike rides. I can tell he likes it because when he sees me put the dog backpack on the ground, he walks over to it and stands on it so I can put him in the bag.
He even did the Philly Bike Ride!
