I had a whole who's-on-first thing trying to explain to a new hire that we all use 1Password

One of my proudest accomplishments as a straight dude is having been named an "honorary lesbian," twice, unprompted, by two completely different groups of lesbian friends. So I guess that tracks.

How on earth can you claim to care about producing something efficiently and then 3D print it?

How is "social media" even a useful category if it includes both YouTube and WhatsApp? Are they meaningfully in competition with each other?

I like my boomer dad's approach to racism and generational progress: "There are things I think but don't say, and I hope you don't think them."

I once had a housemate who worked at a local free-range chicken farm. I'll never forget her coming in exhausted and filthy one night, flopping down on the couch, and announcing "the more time I spend around chickens, the less guilty I feel about eating them."

Gotta admit I don't know Jaimes or any of the more recent stuff. I'm thinking of the Nancy I saw in my grandparents' newspapers in the 1980s-90s.

I'm so mad about how bad all the follow-on versions of Nancy have been. The Bushmiller version rips!
