Getting over being sick and got my Etsy shop updated to reflect accurate tshirt inventory. Now I just need to do...everything else. (Yes Etsy sucks ASS but it is in fact a marketplace which drives a sales for small artists okay)

Laughing my ass off. I love my local art gallery/cafe, I mean I got married there but it doesn't suprise me that the works I submitted for a show themed around Persephone and the change of seasons didn't get accepted. Everything on the walls is floral and light and I submitted this:

I spent too long on this for it to turn out like this. Tried a different shading thing, won’t do that again, couldn’t figure out how to draw bone hand more grippy, not confident in my own art or characters
But despite all that I can tell myself at least I tried. I didn’t give up or resort to AI

Try new brushes or mediums. Hate some, keep some. Look at artists you love. Do a color challenge. Find out you hate orange. Go back to the basics. Put the pen down entirely for a day.

The point is to be kind to yourself and let yourself embrace change and fluctuations.
