Update: I just learned that TriCNES isn't intended to play games, it's mainly focused on tool assisted speedruns (TAS). So MiSTer ranks 1st for emulators intended to play games.

Fair enough. I read it was homebrew but looking at the prototype that you preserved, it looks more like a prototype.

Yeah it should show up as “flightstick” or “analog”. I haven’t tested it for a while. Might have also answered this elsewhere. Sorry for the delay!
