I'll spare you the grim photos of the very old, worn parts (including some very bad gaskets!) But I decided to replace everything so here is a pic of the newly installed fill valve AND flush valve. The new fill valve very clearly outputs more water than the old one, so I'm sure that was the culprit

Egg, pancetta, and spinach omelet with cheddar on a hash brown patty in a biscuit
I don't normally include the hash brown patty because that's pretty indulgent but it sounded worth trying (and it was).

It appears I jumped the gun on eggs when I bought 18-ct for $2.99 last week... they've given me no choice but to top off with a couple more dozen

Crispy seasoned potato wrap with roasted poblano strips, red cabbage, yellow onion, and garlic & herb cream cheese. Wanted texture but cabbage & onion probably too coarsely sliced. Next time, sundried tomatoes would be great. The poblano peppers needed to be used and they worked well here 🫰

Korean mayak eggs (jammy soft-boiled eggs marinated 24 hours in a soy sauce-based marinade), pickled red cabbage and onions, and some fried slices of spam because I'm really enjoying exploring spam's place in Asian comfort food
