Some people have tried to diversify, some having, and for those that haven’t that’s obviously there own fault. But diversifying doesn’t guarantee success on other platforms. TikTok could be a restaurants main advertiser and another source of income so taking it away could hurt them in different ways

Could’ve been fun but seeing how the multiplayer gaming landscape has been the last few years this could be for the better and could save the studio making it some backlash. A single player action adventure Transformers game would be much appreciated at some point though.

I never said people wouldn’t be fine without TikTok. But taking it away with no real reasoning is idiotic and majority of people understand that. People are addicted to TikTok and that ISN’T ok. But neither is banning it. If the main argument is addiction then go ahead and delete every app ever.

Plenty of people know that they can try their best to carry their following over to a different social media app, but that is way harder than it sounds and FORCING people to do it makes absolutely no sense. TikTok didn’t start social media addiction and banning it won’t stop it either. Dumb argument

I’m not saying TikTok/short form videos similar to it haven’t caused issues in plenty of people, but those habits start mainly in kids and at that point it is a parenting issue and limiting access to social media so they have a healthier relationship with it when they’re older. TikTok ban is idiotic

People have livelihoods on TikTok and are potentially having their jobs/businesses main source of advertising and revenue be ripped away for no reason at all. Also plenty of short form content exists with or without TikTok fyi. Instagram/Facebook Reels, YT Shorts, Lemon8, Snapchat.
