They also wouldn't know because Husk would've died before Velvette was even born. But the timeline and ages add up. Husk, when he died, would've been old enough to have grandchildren in their 20s, or maybe still their late teens, Velvette being born a few years after. (5/6)

As for Velvette being British, Husk's children or grandchildren (if he had any) could have moved to England. Because I'm pretty sure you don't inherit accents, and it's what you gain from where you grew up. (4/6)

Velvette and Husk also both have powers revolving around magic. Velvette's powers being more witch type and Husk's being classical magic tricks, which could correspond with the eras they grew up in! (3/6)

They both have a temper and can be really sassy at times, and I know temper can be inherited sometimes. I know if I met them without knowing anything about either of them, by their attitudes, they'd seem related. (2/6)

I love the kind of role reversal where they 'predator' is at the mercy of the 'prey' it makes for a much more interesting story, especially in Angel and Valentino's case. That's why I'm hoping for duet between them in season two

I don't have a ref for it- but I have an idea for one. The kid is a girl, Angel's kid, but she has features from both Husk and Val as well as himself. I have a full description for her in my head. I just can't draw her 😭
