When I'm kerning a font, I add in words that have the letter pairs I need so I can see how they look among other text. Sometimes, a fascinating story develops.

When you put a Burger King into a classic old building that used to have a historic café, you keep the tiled walls!

The hardest thing to get used to with books in Portuguese is that they don't use quotation marks around dialog; they use em dashes instead. (And in this snippet, they replaced the em dash in the English version with a comma in Portuguese!)
