Artist, nature lover, cat mama. Getting older is quite the experience. Live in NW Washington on an Island which is good for a nature loving artist
This is what I am doing with my front yard. Since I live on Puget Sound in Washington State, I surround each garden with driftwood.

They almost look like spiders.

I love Feverfew. I've had it for years and it blooms on and on. Just clip it back.

I am working hard on no f-bombs.

That is why I eat the same thing night after night. Guess I am boring.

Have my first zucchini, but I want to bake it and it's too hot. Tomorrow will be cooler here in Washington state so hopefully baked zucchini tomorrow.

I have a three inch deep bowl for crows and two one inch dishes for the smaller birds. They all use them.

I wish you could sue them. I never thought of that happening. Scary.

Mine are still green. I'm so sad.

Add olives and a little mustard.

Just boil the plain macaroni and go from there.

I have not seen this color combo. Love it.
July 15, 2025 at 6:52 AM
My favorite. Have two colors in two places. Needs no care, but will kick other plants out of their spot.

I glanced at the shrimp and thought they were fingers! Then I looked closer and was very relieved.

I just got some at the grocery store. Lucifer is their name. I have always loved them and finally bought some.
July 9, 2025 at 6:59 AM
By saying I haven't seen one yet, I meant this summer. They are magical.
July 8, 2025 at 5:15 PM
A flicker I think. Have not seen one yet.
July 8, 2025 at 12:51 AM
Your best yet.

I'm on Whidbey Isl. and the daisies and the Feverfew are going nuts.

I broke my elbow a couple of weeks ago. It resembled this plant.

It doesn't look at all like it. In Oregon it is everywhere on the west side. I would ride my horse thru the forest and have poison oak all over my legs.
