This afternoon I will give a lecture in the Cunerakerk, the main church in Rhenen in front of which Elizabeth Stuart erected a summer palace in 1629-31 -the perfect venue to talk about my book Elizabeth Stuart, Queen of Hearts. The palace was demolished in the early 19th-c. Drawing Jan de Beijer.
