The docs and nurses were so stretched it was awful. The doc who initally saw us was amazing and resolved everything and got us back home so fast after we saw her (albeit 5 hrs into the wait). She made a pretty shit experience end on a really good note. I just wish the system supported them better.

Turned out that the visit was due to a contaminated sample that caused a result that if accurate could have been bad if not addressed. But our 7 hour wait in ED could have been a fraction of that if they had taken bloods quickly as it immediately showed the actual result was normal.
