My 2yo daughter loves books. They have been pivotal in helping her to acquire language and she's very articulate. However, my Father in Law tells me that libraries are a financial drain and waste of time -"kids get more from the TV". Education and the power of words is not valued by so many now. 😢

Gosh it is so nice to feel like I am back in old Twitter! Hi everyone. I tweet about research in policing, fraud, sex work, digital-sexual exploitation. But also, personally and professionally, SUDC, child loss and genetic conditions. PPA2 deficiency took my beautiful Alexander & Isabelle, in my ❤️.

Putting this out there: does anyone have any lifesaving tips (from experience) when going from one child (a very independent and headstrong 2.5yo) to two in a matter of weeks? I'm very nervous/anxious to say the least #pregnant

I'm not very good at this social media thing. Welcoming all education & child-focussed content! There are some amazing accounts on Twitter but a lot of unpleasantness too.
