Unfortunately, no. The bulk of my job this week involves grabbing hot pies off baking racks and boxing/packaging them. There’s no room for sitting on the production floor. It’s a madhouse this time of year. When I’m feeling good it’s actually quite fun, but when I’m not, it’s torture.

I appreciate the suggestion but part of the perk of getting a job after working for myself for years is the human interaction I now get on the daily. I think working in isolation for so long led to my depression.

Agreed. I held out for years because of the groups feature (community is so important to me) but ultimately decided to boycott when Zuckerberg aligned himself with Trump. My mental health is much improved on that front now haha

They were tiny bite sized pecan pies and pumpkin pies. So delicious! Sorry I don’t have a recipe, the hosts were a lovely couple that own a kombucha shop and only recently started serving vegan food there too. This event was a sampling of some of their wonderful menu items.
